It’s that time of year to go out on a seemingly daily basis to find the perfect presents for friends and family (or your boss, dog sitter… you get the idea). In the midst of making tough choices for a gift that means something special, it’s likely that your handbag will start to get more and more unorganized as you shuffle around credit cards, protective lip balm and gift receipts. What’s a girl to do? Here are 5 ways to keep your holiday shopping handbag organized to save your sanity!
Get rid of the things you don’t absolutely need.
This tip is pretty simple and straightforward, but important. When holiday shopping, you’re going to be juggling so many different items, like:
A handwritten holiday shopping list
Makeup and lotion to repair skin and lips from colder weather
Gloves and other winter accessories
…And so much more.
Don’t waste any valuable purse space on things more suited for the summer. Besides, extra items means extra weight, which adds up when you’re already carrying a purse and shopping bags!
As a general rule, clean our your purse at least once a week. You’re sure to find something in there you don’t want or need. For better results, clean your purse out after every major shopping trip this holiday season.
Separate items with different cases to make them more usable.
As a first line of defense against damaging your precious handbag, and to be even more organized, try segmenting different types of items in your purse with different types of holders.
There’s a great product we sell to help you do that (more on that below), but here are a couple other ideas that can be used in addition to that product:
Put all makeup together in a small makeup bag. If you tend to use the same items all the time, this is a great way to make them easily accessible in a way that doesn’t expose your bag to liquid damage if they break. Make sure to throw out expired makeup to avoid contamination!
Get a holder for your cell phone charger and other cords. Without proper storage and organization, these items can cause unnecessary purse problems.
No matter how you prefer to organize your purse, one of the easiest solutions for keeping everything in line is No Sacrifice Bag’s Le Mobile purse organizer.
It acts as the base of your purse, and is easily removable for organization. Here’s what you need to know: it comes in faux lambskin and croc embossed faux leather. The beautiful red interior helps illuminate the interior of your purse, which makes it easy to see where everything is.
As a general rule, if you can’t easily see or find something in your purse, you won’t use it! Use the different compartments to store your wallet, makeup, keys and more. The best part is that it protects your handbag’s interior from spills that could damage or ruin your favorite designer handbag! Find out more here.
